It was a long road but very well worth it.  After seeing everyone the other day and seeing the before pics it is safe to say that there were huge changes that took place. Everyone looked so good hard to say who will win this. I look at my before pic and can hardly believe my eyes.  So different from my final result.  The VPX products definitely got me to my goal much more quickly then without.  The one thing I learned about the products was not to take them on a completely empty stomach.  I made that mistake one day and felt horrible during my workout.  Other than that felt very good and now am in some of the best shape of my life. I am lifting way more now then I ever used to be able to(with good form of course).  Thanks to Carla and the VPX team for helping me get this far.  I hope to keep on going and take it to the next level. From watching my co-workers eating syrup soaked pancakes to partying with friends. There are only 2 weeks left in this challenge. That is 13 days, 78 meals, 15 workouts, and not one beer. I have shed the fat and now its time to put on the bulk. I am looking forward to the next two weeks to see how much muscle weight I can gain. Thus far I have not noticed a considerable weight gain. I chalk that up to turning the fat lbs into muscle lbs.  The diet is much easier to get down, although making all that food is still no fun.  I sure hope there is a massive BBQ after this is over with tons of BEEEEEERRR. I remember when I first layed my eyses on a serious bodybuilder.  I was in high school and working out at the city recreation center.  I remember seeing this huge man lifting huge amounts of weight.  I remember thinking to myself how is this possible.  I had never seen a squat bar bend to the point I thought it might break in two pieces.  Of course the bar didn't break and he just keep piling on the weights.  Amazing to see what the human body is capable of doing.  I got to know this bodybuilder and we soon became friends.  We trained together for a couple of years and I gained an enourmous amount of knowledge about this sport of bodybuilding.  We eventually starting training at seperate gyms and went our seperate ways.   As time goes by, as we know it does, I lost focus.  My time was spent in a lot of different ways over the next few years but rarely in the gym.  I was hesitant to start this challenge because I have had no desire to do this sport in years.  I am thankful I did.  My interest has been sparked again.  Fueled by the new VPX products and a killer workout routine!  I am ready to begin week 6. The Shotgun sets me &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;perfect&lt;/span&gt; for a great &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;workout&lt;/span&gt;.  The Synthesize keeps me going strong.  I have not had this type of pump in the gym from any other supplement. I have found that the supplements have a great flavor so I actually look forward to them and the protein shake at night has replaced my craving for sweets. I hope he enjoys the Carribean!   In reference to the supplements, The Shotgun has enough giddy-up in it to make early morning workouts easier, and the Synthesis seems to stave off hunger until I can get breakfast going.  Shotgun gives me a better pump, and a longer pump than anything else I have tried.  Pretty impressed so far.  The RTD (vanilla) tastes very good, easy to drink etc....The workouts are great, back to basics of hard and heavy.  I didn't realize how much I missed that type of routine.  The food has been what I expected, a lot of it and clean to boot.  Not much different from what I normally eat, just a difference in quantity.  Through week 4, I have gained 9.5 lbs, and thru the food and training, strength is gaining.  My muscles have filled out, and  I feel pretty good. type='text'>I found the calves I lost a few years ago</title><content type='html'>Week 3:  Okay, thanks VPX and especially thanks Carla.  Ms. Sanchez' two minutes of torture on the calves left me barely able to walk for a few days.  I did as Carla suggested and added NO Synthesize during my workouts.  This was especially effective with respect to feeling better post-workout.  In addition, I wasn't as hungry post workout.  I could wait a little longer to eat which was convenient given the travel.  I started the week with legs in Boston and did the rest in NYC and Denver.  This week I froze about 1/2 my meals and had to buy VPX shakes on the road but found them easily at GNC.  Shout out to the iPhone peeps for making it hard to cheat.  The best food in Manhattan is at Pump in Mid town.  They will cook to order and specialize in food for people trying to eat healthy (Huge amounts of protein if you want it).  I am now down 4 belt notches and my weight is climbing.  I actually am on the road again this week to Florida.  I actually prepared my food in advance on Sunday, bagged everything and froze it for the week.  My colleagues laugh at me for checking a cooler but it seems like they always call for food at some point during the week.  I did not go hungry.  It was easy to bag the Shotgun and Synthesize into plastic bags, label it and add it to the shake mixer I travel with.  I found the NO Shotgun especially helpful since I was getting up to do my workouts at the equivalent of 3am Denver time.  I lost another belt notch this week (three total) and my weight stayed was sore for about 5 days.  I was not well organized on the diet but ate well and supplemented exactly as ordered by Carla Sanchez utilizing the VPX shakes (two per day).  In particular, I took the NO Shotgun pre-workout and the NO Synthesize post workout.  What I found most interesting (aside from being incredibly sore from the workouts) was that after drinking the NO Synthesize post workout I Its hard to find guys to workout with that have similar goals and somewhat of the same schedule. It is also a huge help to have a trainer with ample knowledge who pushes to your limit. Working out today with out a trainer today, I was hesitant to put up bigger weight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I sure am glad the VPX products are tasty compared to many others I have tried. They are a little sweet but mixed with more water its great. Drinking them with extra water helps me get to the "gallon of water per day." Carla's workouts are killer and I agree with the calves comments.  They feel like they are going to rip out of my skin when I do the 2 minutes.  I am starting to notice big differences in my body now.  No longer am I the skinny fat kid.  My belly is shrinking off and more muscle is packing on.  My weight has stayed the same but my pants are fitting much looser which shows I am replacing that fat with muscle.  I am really excited to see how I look at the end of this.  A great added bonus to this program is the amount of energy I have gained.  I always had such a hard time getting up in the morning but now have a ton of energy and am waking with a readiness to start the day. The biggest lesson learned thus far has been the fact that it is never just one thing that brings transformation. It's not just one good meal, one good training session, or one good supplement... it's linking together the combination and constancy of many things that bring the results wanted. At the beginning I could't eat all of the food that was on my menu (3900 calories worth) and now my body craves it. Every 2.5 hours or so I am hungry. I have been working out pretty consistently since August and have seen some results. At the end of the 3rd week I have lost what belly I had and have increased muscle by at leats 2x what I had before I started on the VPX products and diet. Before VPX a bench press of 135 lbs was great for me and now getting 155 lbs up 4x is not a problem. I have gone from 415lbs on leg press to 500 lbs 8 x. The VPX products are much better tasting than I would have expected and the shakes are very tasty.  The workouts that Carla provides are great and keep my body guessing always as to what comes next.  I would have to say that what I am sure is making the biggest difference is my diet.  I always eat a little healthy but used to constantly skip breakfast and not eat the amount that I needed to in order to really gain muscle.  Now I am eating way more calories than I ever have (3700) and watching my belly shrink.  The diet along with the VPX products will help take my body to new levels. I was never a guy that followed a supplement schedule before this. Like most guys I know I would see a product in a magazine, run to &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;GNC&lt;/span&gt; and buy it, take it for a week or so, it would taste gross, then it would sit on my shelf til I tossed it out. The &lt;span style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffff00"&gt;VPX &lt;/span&gt;products taste great and are so easy to take. One before my work out one after and the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;RTD&lt;/span&gt; shake as my evening shack. My body is feeling great and it is making my work outs just fly by with a great pump and fast recovery time. Not only was it a shock to my system getting up extra early before work to get to the gym, but the diet was tough because I had a hard time eating all the food. To make matters worse I had a touch of food &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;poisoning&lt;/span&gt; the Saturday before so it made taking the NO-Shotgun impossible. By day three I had found that taking it with orange juice instead of water made it easier to take. The best part are the ready to drink &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;protein&lt;/span&gt; shakes.
